Karen HAEKKERUP

Minister since October 2011, Karen Haakerup is a member of the Danish Social Democratic Party for Greater Copenhagen where she served on the City Council from 1998 to 2005. She has an M.Sc in Political Science from Copenhagen University and is Board Member of the City’s Hospital  Association and the Danish Support Centre against Incest. She will open the conference with a keynote speech on the social policy achievements and progress during the Danish Presidency.
