Thomas BØRNER
Chairman of the Public Welfare Technology Foundation at the Ministry of Finance in Denmark
Thomas Børner has for several years been working with welfare challenges and the problems our ageing societies face on a national as well as on an international level. In 1993, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Danish National Association of Local Authorities and in 2004 he became Permanent Secretary in the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs. He will discuss new technology and how to promote innovative solutions for people and services in the third plenary session of the conference.
